RTP is where most North Carolinians with high paying jobs work. It’s located in Raleigh, Cary, Morrisville, and Durham. From Vass, the Research Triangle Park, RTP, is about an hour north on Route 1. Points of interest along the way: the Sharon Harris Nuclear Plant will be on the right hand side after going through Sanford.

Wake Forest NC

Go either North on Rte 1, or for less highway driving, go North on 210 and 401. Wake Forest is the little town just north of the capital, Raleigh.
